Ramona “Romi” Fitzgerald runs the Lifestyle desk and directs the quiz franchise at Bavarian Brainrot. She joined the publication in January 2026 after three years at BuzzFeed’s Quiz Team and two at The Cool Down, where she covered the consumer-facing edge of the Appalachian sustainability sector.
Romi holds a B.A. in Media Studies from the University of North Georgia (2017) and is the only person on staff who has been formally trained in the question-design conventions that distinguish a high-converting personality quiz from the sort of quiz that produces a result and is then immediately forgotten. She takes this responsibility seriously.
She has so far written three of the six launch-day Bavarian Brainrot quizzes (including the one about which shade of beige Bavarian façade best represents your inner turmoil) and oversees the bi-weekly listicle schedule. She is currently developing what she describes as “the Helen Personality Inventory,” a 78-item instrument that will, in her view, finally give the town’s tourists a way to talk about themselves truthfully.
